          Map Document Types to Applicants for Vehicle and Asset Lending

          Create a decision matrix to map document types to the different types of applicants for a vehicle loan or lease application. The decision matrix determines the types of document types that applicants are required to upload during the intake process. For example, map driving license and bank statements to primary applicants and co-applicants for a vehicle loan.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions.
          User Permissions Needed
          To create a decision matrix:

          Product Discovery Administrator

          AND

          Rule Engine Designer

          AND

          Product Catalog Management Designer

          To run a decision matrix:

          Product Discovery User

          AND

          Product Catalog Management Viewer

          Enable Business Rules Engine in your org.

          1. From the App Launcher, find and select Lookup Tables.
          2. Click New.
          3. Select Decision Matrix, and then click Next.
          4. Enter LendingDocumentTypes as the name.
          5. Select Standard as the type.
          6. Save your changes.
          7. Go to the Related tab.
          8. On the Decision Matrix Versions tab, click on the LendingDocumentTypes V1 version.
          9. Click Add Column and provide these values.
            1. For Column Header, enter productId.
            2. For Type, select Input.
            3. For Data Type, select Text.
          10. Click Add Column and provide these values.
            1. For Column Header, enter applicantType.
            2. For Type, select Input.
            3. For Data Type, select Text.
          11. click Add Column and provide these values.
            1. For Column Header, enter level.
            2. For Type, select Input.
            3. For Data Type, select Text.
          12. Click Add Column and provide these values.
            1. For Column Header, enter docTypeLabel.
            2. For Type, select Output.
            3. For Data Type, select Text.
          13. Click Done.
          14. Save your changes.
          15. Click Add Row.
          16. Enter the details.

            Here is an example of a sample record.

            ProductId ApplicantType Level DocTypeLabel
            ID of the vehicle loan or lease financial product record. See Create Financial Products for Vehicle and Asset Lending. Co-Applicant ApplicationFormProduct API name of a document type. See Create Document Types for Vehicle and Asset Lending.
            ID of the vehicle loan or lease financial product record. See Create Financial Products for Vehicle and Asset Lending. Primary Applicant ApplicationFormProduct API name of a document type. See Create Document Types for Vehicle and Asset Lending.
          17. Add more rows for other combinations of products and document types.
          18. Save your changes.
          19. Click Activate.
