Configure Criteria-Based Search and Filter for Vehicle and Asset Lending
On behalf of the customers, dealers can rehash an active loan or lease proposal by
changing the selected vehicle on the application. They can request a different vehicle to meet
customer requirements, by using Criteria-Based Search and Filter. Create a search criteria
configuration to simplify the experience of searching for a new vehicle.

To create a search action configuration:
Make sure that you enable Criteria-Based Search and Filter feature in Setup. Assign the
Criteria-Based Search and Filter for Experience Cloud permission set to the partner user who
rehashes the deal, and the Criteria-Based Search and Filter permission set to the admin who
sets up the search configuration.
Create a Searchable Object Configuration.
From Setup, enter Criteria in the Quick Find box, then
select Criteria-Based Search and Filter.
On the Searchable Object Configuration tab, click New.
Enter a name for the configuration.
For Searchable Object, search for and select Vehicle Definition Searchable
Field.
Enter a description.
For Data Synchronization Job, search for and select Update Vehicle Definition
Searchable Field Values.
From Setup, go to Data Processing Engine, clone and activate the Update Vehicle
Searchable Field Values template so that you can select it.
From Setup, enter Criteria in the Quick Find box, then
select Criteria-Based Search and Filter.
On the Action Configuration tab, click New.
Enter a name.
For example, Select Vehicle.
Select Global for the Action Scope fields.
Enter a description.
Select LightningWebComponent as the action type.
Select Asset Lending Vehicle Selection as the action
reference.
Click Save.
For the Partner Community user profile, provide Read access to the fields on the
Vehicle Definition Searchable Field object.
