Permission Set Licenses for Automotive Cloud
Automotive Cloud users need permission set licenses to interact with settings, workflows, and features. See which permission set licenses apply to different groups of users. Understand what each permission set license offers. All core app users need the Automotive Foundation User permission set license at a minimum. Depending on the user role, determine which other permission set licenses to assign to users. To collaborate with external users, you also need the Experience Cloud permission set licenses.

These permission set licenses are available when you set up Automotive Cloud. Go to the Company Information page in Setup, and find out which Permission Set Licenses are available in your org.

This permission set license also includes user permissions for accessing Intelligent Document Automation, Branch Management and Record Association Builder features. This license also provides access to objects which you can use to track products and locations. You need this license along with the Industry Service Excellence permission set license to access Service Console for Automotive. |
| Vehicle Connected Services | Admins and users who manage connected services for vehicles, such as remote actions, remote notifications, and get real-time telematics status and diagnostic data from vehicle sensors. | Access to the predefined service processes for remote action and notification as well as the capabilities related to connected services for vehicles. |
| Vehicle and Asset Lending | Finance managers who track vehicle loan or lease applications, party profile information, and underwriters who are involved in finance decisioning. | Access to all application, party, and proposal related records, discovery framework, compliant data sharing, document checklist, and identity verification and screening features. The Use Vehicle and Asset Lending Underwriter Console permission can be assigned only to underwriters. |

| Criteria-Based Search and Filter | Admins can create a search experience by choosing which fields users can query on, which fields they view in result display, and more. This permission set license also provides internal users access to Decision Explainer features and APIs.
