Create a Lightning Page for the Prework Estimation App in Automotive Cloud
Create a Lightning page for the prework estimation mobile app that allows service
technicians in the field to create orders and share a PDF with customers or dealers.
Required Editions
Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer
Editions.
User Permissions Needed
To create and save Lightning pages in the Lightning App Builder:
Customize Application
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter User Interface, and then
select Lightning App Builder.
Click New.
Select App Page and click Next.
Enter Pre-Work Estimation in the Label field, and then click
Next.
Select One Region and click Finish.
Drag the Omniscript component on to the canvas.
In the component’s properties panel, provide the following details:
Type: team
Subtype: createOrder
Theme: Newport
Display: Display OmniScript on page
Language: English
Language Direction: Left to Right
Drag the Omniscript component on to the canvas.
In the component’s properties panel, provide the following details:
Type: docGeneration
Subtype: PreWorkEstimation
Theme: Newport
Display: Display OmniScript on page
Language: English
Language Direction: Left to Right
Click Save then Activate.
In Page Settings, choose an icon for your page.
In Lightning Experience, add your page to Lightning Experience apps.
For example, select Automotive from the list of available apps, and
click Add page to app.
In Mobile Navigation, add your page to the mobile navigation menu. Use the arrows to move
the page up or down.
Click Save.
