Help users take note of record changes with timely notifications. You can create record
alerts manually in your org but it’s more likely that you create record alerts via integration
techniques with external systems.

You can set up record alerts and customize the Vehicle page layout to show alerts from external
telematics and navigation systems, such as an error for overheated engines, or a warning for
faulty GPS. You can also show users record alerts for other records in your org such as
notifications for achieving asset milestones, alerts on warranty expirations and renewals, and
warnings for parts recalls.
Record alerts are also added to the Service Console for Automotive, which helps service
agents and dealer reps in effective interactions with callers. Users can act promptly based on
the severity and urgency of record alerts.
Set Up Record Alerts for Automotive Cloud Configure record alerts with different severity types so that users can focus their attention on urgent records. Optionally, customize the Omnistudio FlexCards and the Omnistudio Integration Procedures components.
Types of Record Alerts in Automotive Cloud Configure record alerts for a variety of use cases such as periodic maintenance of vehicles, harsh accelerations, engine malfunctions, or subscription expirations. Use an integration to get data in real time from external telematics systems or dealer management systems. The Flexcard component on a page layout shows record alerts from external and iinternal sources.
