Create a Service Process Definition for Remote Vehicle Action
Create a service process for remote vehicle actions from a template. Service agents can
launch a service process from the Action Launcher on a Vehicle record page to lock or unlock the
doors of a vehicle.
Required Editions
Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer
Editions.
User Permissions Needed
To create a service process definition:
Industries Service Process
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Service Process Studio, and
then click Service Process Studio.
Click New Service Process and then click Create from
Template.
Select Remote Vehicle Door Lock and Unlock.
Click Save & Launch.
Enter a process name and a unique API name.
Make a note of the API Name. You use it later to update the Omniscript for remote
actions.
If necessary, update the short and long description.
Select Request Intake Form.
The second version of the ConctVehicleRemoteActions/LockUnlockDoors must be automatically
available. If you use a different version of the Omniscript, click Add Request
Form and select the Omniscript. You can select only active versions.
Save and activate your changes.
