            Create a Search Action Configuration for Vehicle Inventory

            Create an action configuration to define the types of actions users can take on search results. When users search for vehicles, they can also select multiple search results and transfer the vehicles to a destination location of their choice. For this, create a Lightning Web Component action for Vehicle Transfer and add it to the search criteria configuration.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions
            User Permissions Needed
            To create a search action configuration: View Setup and Configuration

            Enable the Criteria-Based Search and Filter feature in your org.

            1. From Setup, enter Criteria in the Quick Find box, then select Criteria-Based Search and Filter.
            2. On the Action Configuration tab, click New.
            3. Enter a name for the action such as Transfer Vehicles.
              The name you enter here is displayed as the label of the action button in the Search Results section for your users.
            4. The API name field is autopopulated.
            5. The Action Scope fields shows Global by default.
            6. Enter a description.
            7. For Action Type, select LightningWebComponent.
            8. For Action Reference, select Vehicle Transfer.
            9. Click Save.
