To create a search criteria configuration: View Setup and Configuration

Enable the Criteria-Based Search and Filter feature in your org.

Create a search configuration based on the Vehicle Searchable Field and the Vehicle Definition Searchable Field objects. You can also create a search configuration based on the Vehicle object. You can select fields from the Vehicle object to use as criteria, search result display columns, and as group and aggregation criteria.

          1. From Setup, enter Criteria in the Quick Find box, then select Criteria-Based Search and Filter.
          2. On the Search Configuration tab, click New.
          3. Select Default as the configuration type.
          4. Click Next.
          5. To provide the basic details, follow these steps:
            1. Enter a name for the configuration.
The API Name field is automatically populated.

          6. To select the search and filter criteria, follow these steps:
            1. Move fields from the Available Fields list to the Selected Fields list.

            3. Click Next.
          7. To select the search result display format, select List or Card.
The card-based view for search results comes with a predefined set of fields that are displayed by default. You can modify or extend these fields based on your requirements. See Explore Omnistudio Components for Vehicle Inventory Search for a list of the predefined omnistudio components that support the card-based view for vehicle inventory search.

            3. Click Add.
            4. Add up to 6 values for distance range so that the scope of inventory search can be incrementally extended.
            5. For Relative Location, select a location-type of field based on which the distance is calculated for a vehicle.
By default, you can select either Vehicle Current Location or Inventory Location Coordinates as the relative location.

            3. Click Done.
          13. To select the actions for the search results, follow these steps:
            1. Move up to 10 search actions from the Available Fields list to the Selected Fields list.
We recommend that you select a search result action of type Lightning Web Component and of variant Vehicle Transfer.
