Create or Update Event and Milestone Types in Automotive Cloud Add event types or milestone types for person life events, business milestones, financial account milestones, and asset milestones if the default types don't meet your business needs. You can deactivate the values that you don't need.
Configure Icons for Events and Milestones in Automotive Cloud Use icons to identify the event types or milestone types that you create. You can replace the default icon for life event types, business milestone types, financial account milestone or asset milestone types with your own icons. For example, if you create an Asset Milestone type for 10,000 Miles Completed, you can use an odometer icon to signify the milestone.
Show Events and Milestones for Relevant Automotive Records Add the Events and Milestones component to the Account, Contact, or Vehicle record page layouts to surface information about key moments in the lifecycle of these records. You can hide life event and milestone types that you don’t want the dealer executives or sales executives to see. For example, if you add the Events and Milestones component to the Vehicle record page layout that you customized for a Dealer Sales Executive, you can hide milestone types related to repair and maintenance, such as General Service, Car Damage, or Body Repair.
Do More Using the Events and Milestones Component in Automotive Cloud The Events and Milestones Lightning component helps dealer executives and sales personnel to view key milestones and moments for a financial account, vehicle, account, or contact. Customize the event or milestone records that users create to provide enhanced user experience. Help users to quickly initiate actions, such as logging a call or creating an order directly from a milestone or event. Or, control the type of information that users see when they hover on a milestone or event. You can also mark certain life events and business milestones as unique.
