Create or Update Event and Milestone Types in Automotive Cloud
Add event types or milestone types for person life events, business milestones,
financial account milestones, and asset milestones if the default types don't meet your business
needs. You can deactivate the values that you don't need.
Required Editions
Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer
Editions.
User Permissions Needed
To customize events and milestones:
Customize Application
In Object Manager, search for and select Person Life Event,
Business Milestone, Financial Account Milestone
or Asset Milestone.
Click Fields & Relationships, and then select Event
Type or Milestone Type.
Under Event Type Picklist Values or Milestone Type Picklist Values, click
New, and then add the new event types or milestone types.
Select the Default checkbox to make a picklist value the default option for
selection.
Under Event Type Picklist Values or Milestone Type Picklist Values, click
Deactivate next to the value that you want to deactivate.
To activate an inactive event type or milestone type, under Inactive Values, click
Activate next to the value.
Save your changes.
Note If you use Translation Workbench, notify your translators when you add or update picklist
values so that the new picklist values are translated.
