          Get Started with Automotive Service Processes

          Before you start using Automotive Service Processes, review the product navigation.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
          Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions
          1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, find, and select Salesforce Go.
          2. Enter Automotive Service Processes in the Search field, and select Automotive Service Processes.
          3. Click Set Up.
            Users can choose between a Standard Installation, which automatically installs all solutions, or a Custom Installation to select specific features within the bundle to install.
          4. For a Standard Installation, click Start, and then click Install.
            1. The installation automates configuration by enabling features such as Automotive Foundation and Vehicle and Asset Finance Foundation.
            2. The installation also validates and installs sample data, such as Account, Product, Vehicle, Vehicle Definition, Asset, Financial Account, Party Financial Asset, Financial Account Party, and Financial Account Party Financial Asset records.
            3. If the installation fails, to view the logs, click View Error Log on the Automotive Service Processes page. If the problem persists, contact Salesforce Customer Support.
          5. For a Custom Installation, click Start.
            1. For the required features, choose to install sample data by selecting Include Sample Data.
            2. For the optional features, select the features you wish to set up, select Include Sample Data for the available features, if needed, and then click Next.
            3. Click Install.
          6. Post the installation, configure these steps to finish setting up the service process templates.
            1. Set up the Unified Catalog template.
            2. Connect your Salesforce and MuleSoft instances.
            3. Create integration definitions.
            4. Configure the Action Launcher for the service processes.
