            Vehicle Telematics Event Code Mapping Data Model Object

            Use the Vehicle Telematics Event Code Mapping telematics data model object in Data Cloud to store data about the relationship between fault codesets and telematics events for a vehicle. Ingest and store telematics events such as engine overheating, brake malfunctions, mechanical faults, or fuel leaks in Data Cloud to analyze the fault and the resolution, and to build diagnostic insights. Each event must be related to an existing fault codeset in the system that uniquely identifies the type of issue frequently encountered for vehicles.

            Fields in the Data Model Object

            Field Description
            Code Mapping ID ID of the mapping of a fault event and its corresponding code.
            Fault Resolution Type Resolution type for the fault event.
            Fault Resolution Date Date when the fault event was resolved.
            Fault Code ID ID of the codeset related to the fault type.
            Event ID ID of the fault event.
            Fault Code Sensor Values Readings obtained from various sensors in the vehicle or asset that help diagnose the underlying issue indicated by the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) system.
            Freeze Frame ID ID of a snapshot of the sensor or component readings captured at the moment when the electronic control unit detected the malfunction. In addition, it contains the DTC for the reason for the malfunction that the system identified.
            Internal Organization The internal organization unit related to the vehicle that the event codes are mapped for.
