Vehicle Trip Data Model Object
Use the Vehicle Trip telematics data model object in Data Cloud to store the data related to the single trip of a vehicle. In addition to the fields available on the Asset Operation object, the Vehicle Trip telematics data model object contains vehicle-specific fields such as longitude, latitude, odometer reading, and trip cost.

Fields in the Data Model Object

| Road Type | Type of the road used during a vehicle trip. |
| Average Speed | Average speed of the vehicle during the trip. |
| Fuel Consumption | The quantity of fuel consumed by the vehicle during the trip. |
| Initial Odometer Reading | The odometer reading of the vehicle when the trip starts. |
| Final Odometer Reading | The odometer reading of the vehicle when the trip ends. |
| Start Location Latitude | Latitude of the trip's start location. |
| Start Location Longitude | Longitude of the trip's start location. |
| End Location Latitude | Latitude of the trip's end location. |
| End Location Longitude | Longitude of the trip's end location. |
| Asset Operation ID | ID of the asset operation related to the vehicle trip. |
| Trip Cost | Total expenses incurred for the trip. |
| Trip Cost Unit of Measure | Unit of measure for the cost of the trip. |
| Toll Count | Number of tolls encountered during the trip. |
| Trip ID | ID of the vehicle trip as shared by the telematics system. |
| Vehicle ID | ID of the vehicle related to the trip. |
| Average Speed Unit of Measure | Unit of measure for the vehicle's average speed during the trip. |
| Fuel Consumption Unit of Measure | Unit of measure for the vehicle's fuel consumption during the trip. |
| Initial Odometer Reading Unit of Measure | Unit of measure for the vehicle's initial odometer reading during the trip. |
| Final Odometer Reading Unit of Measure | Unit of measure for the vehicle's final odometer reading during the trip. |
| Telematics Provider | ID of the telematics provider. |
| Asset Unique Identifier | Unique identifier of an asset, such as the serial number or the vehicle identification number. |
| Shift ID | ID of a shift that's related to the vehicle trip. |
| Shift Start Time | Start date and time of a shift for the vehicle trip. |
| Shift End Time | End date and time of a shift for the vehicle trip. |
| Run Duration | Run duration of the vehicle trip. |
| Run Duration Unit of Measure | Unit of measure of the run duration of the vehicle trip. |
| Idle Duration | Duration of the trip when the vehicle was idle. |
| Idle Duration Unit of Measure | Unit of measure for the vehicle trip’s idle duration. |
| Pause Duration | Duration of the trip when the vehicle was stopped. |
| Pause Duration Unit of Measure | Unit of measure for a vehicle’s pause duration. |
| Asset Category | Type of asset that's related to an asset operation, such as a vehicle or any other asset. |
| Asset | ID of the asset related to an asset operation cycle. |
