          Learn how you can capture information about warranty claims, defective assets, existing warranty coverage, and expenses incurred to repair, replace, and refund defective assets.

          Requirement Action Example
          A dealer wants to request a manufacturer to authorize the labor services to be performed and the parts to be replaced to rectify defective assets before performing them. Create Claim records of the Pre Warranty Authorization type. Dream Dallas Dealers, a dealer, submits a warranty claim to Neo Motors, a manufacturer.
          A partner wants to submit a warranty claim to be reimbursed for the labor services performed and parts replaced to rectify multiple defective assets. Create Claim records of the Warranty Claim type. Dream Dallas Dealers submits a warranty claim for multiple malfunctioning parts related to a single vehicle.
          A partner wants record detailed information on each defective asset, including its usage and fault date. Create Claim Item records.

          Dream Dallas Dealers creates the following claim items:

          • A claim item for the Neo Engine S95 asset, and specifies Neo Sport LS25 as the vehicle on the record.
