Enable Advanced Assortments with Assortment Templates

To work with product assortments, create assortment templates that act as a blueprint for creating product assortments.

You can use one of these templates to create an assortment template.

Assortment List: A long-term agreement between you and a retail account. An authorization list contains products available for a customer org and its subordinate stores, and the target values to be maintained for these products. When an order or survey is created for an account, these products are available in the order disposal list and their target values (for price and facings) act as the preset values for surveys. Assortment lists are also called listings, authorization lists, or assortments.
Customer Selling Assortment: A group of products that acts as a listing for independent customers or stores that don’t have an assortment list. For example, a mom-and-pop store doesn’t have a set of products that they usually sell. So, create a customer selling assortment for the products these kinds of stores sell.
Sales Document Assortment: Order-specific assortment. To use the products of a sales document assortment in an order disposal list, associate the relevant order template with the sales document assortment.

As an admin, you can manage product assortment templates and change the record type of product assortment templates.

The product assortment type depends on the record type of the template that's used to create the assortment.

Product Area
