Goods Cloud is enabled.
Considerations for Base Data Model
Here are the considerations applicable to the Consumer Goods Cloud offline mobile app for the
Base data model.
You can perform only Inventory checks and custom tasks.
You can’t upload pictures from device galleries.
You can assign a product to only one product category.
You can’t take notes during visits.
You can have a store with a maximum of 50 in-store locations.
You can have a Task card that shows up to 10 tasks at a time.
Considerations for Enhanced Data Model
Here are the considerations applicable to the Consumer Goods (CG) Cloud offline mobile app
for the Enhanced data model (Spring ’22 and later).
Sharing an instance of the CG Cloud mobile app between multiple users on a single device
isn't supported. Each user must use the mobile app on their own device. If a second user
needs to use the app on a device already in use, they must reinstall the app.
To effectively view stores on the map, it’s crucial to maintain accurate coordinates for
each store location.
Input values for both the Date and Time fields separately, as they serve distinct
purposes.
The State and Country fields are text fields and the data types of these fields must not
be altered.
The paging feature in the offline mobile app list views is activated by default. For
example, in the account overview list. Activate this feature in list views only if the
expected data volume exceeds 300 records. Specific limits apply to detail lists such as
order items or conditional store audits. See Retail Execution Limits.
The offline mobile app doesn’t support complex address fields such as shippingAddress
and billingAddress. To form the address in Salesforce objects, use the fields from Address
Compound Fields. Salesforce combines simple field values for an address. When you set up a
tracked object, filter complex address fields from the mobile-relevant fields to prevent
syncing these fields to the Consumer Goods Cloud offline mobile app.
On the offline mobile app, you can’t use:
Magnification (Android) or pinch zoom gesture (iPhone)
