          Products in Disposal List

          Products in Disposal List

If Consider Field Availability is selected in an order template, then the disposal list shows products that are in the Field state. Depending on the configuration of the order template, you can also show listed products, historic products, and promotional products. Competitor products are included in an order if Allow Competitor Products is selected in the order template.

          Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience in Professional, Enterprise, and Unlimited Editions that have Consumer Goods Cloud enabled

The disposal list product types are:

          • Listed Products: Listed products are part of a product assortment assigned to the customer. If Consider Listing is selected in the order template, listed products are shown in a disposal list. Here are some general guidelines for the products shown:
            • Products that belong to the listings are determined for the order customer through the first-hit algorithm.
            • For customers who don't have Consider Modules selected, products assigned to the related product assortments are shown in the disposal list independent of account classification and module assignment.
            • For customers with Consider Modules selected, the products whose listing modules are the same as the listing module for the store for a product category are added as listed products.

Closed listing is a condition where only products that are part of the listing can be added to the order. If this option is selected for the order item template, valid product assortments are checked for a customer and adding products is restricted. The Obligatory field in product assortment determines if the assortment is closed listing. If the field is selected in the order template, then the obligatory product assortments are shown in the products listing. You can add products only from these listings.

Some scenarios possible during the selection of products from listing modules are:

            • A customer has multiple product assortments: Products from all product assortments are shown. The duplicate products are shown only one time.
            • A product is in multiple product assortments:
              • Validity of products is determined and products with the highest validity are shown.
              • If multiple products have the same validity period, then products with the oldest Valid From date are shown.
              • If multiple products have the same Valid From and Valid Thru dates, then random products are shown.

            Points to remember:

            • List of products shown is based on the modifications made when adding products.
            • Products that are assigned to a basket but aren’t valid aren’t deleted from the basket.
            • For released orders, the calculations made before the orders are released don't change.
          • Historic Products: Historic products are relevant in order taking for customers who don’t have any listing and previously ordered products are shown in the disposal list. You can view and add one or more products to an order. If Add Former Items is selected in the order template, historic products are displayed in the disposal list. Products included in the last five orders are included for a customer. The number of days of history depend on the value entered in the Consider History in Days field of the order template.

In the Customer Goods (CG) mobile app, the Consider History tab shows historic products for an account order and an item template only if these conditions are met:

            • The order date falls within today's date minus the Consider History In Days setting in the Order Template.
            • Add Former Items flag is turned on in the Order Template.
            • The order is in the Ready, Send Fax, Feedback, or Closed phase.
          • Promoted Products: Promoted products let customers order promoted products, such as a larger pack or a new flavor of a listed product. If Consider Promotion is selected in the order template, products that are part of a customer-relevant tactic on the date of the order are shown in the disposal list. Promotions are determined based on the selected promotion finding algorithm and are shown in the disposal list.
          • Sales Document Assortments: Sales document assortments provide a well-defined, customer-independent, and short product list order type, such as advertising material or seasonal products. If Sales Document Assortments is selected in the order template, then products included in the sales document assortment assigned to a customer are shown in the disposal list. If Closed Listing is also selected, then for an order, the disposal list displays products that are included in listings and sales document assortments.
          • Customer Selling Assortments: Customer selling assortments are quasi-listings for independent stores that don’t place orders based on a trade org listing, such as an assortment of independent gas stations or kiosks from which customers can order products. If Customer Selling Assortments is selected in the order template, then products included in the customer selling assortment assigned to the customer are shown in the disposal list.
