          Enable Account Teams

Multiple managers can access account teams and edit the account and respective data. Account Teams help multiple users to better collaborate on accounts by defining a role for each team member, setting record-level access individually and viewing teams in list views and reports.

          1. From Setup, find and select Account Teams.
          2. Click Enable Account Teams, and then select Enable Account Teams.
          3. Save your changes.

          Enable Translation Workbench

          2. Click Enable.
          3. If there are no added languages, click Add, and then under Select Language, add the relevant language.

          5. Activate the translation, and then save your changes.
Activate a language to show picklist values in that language. If a language is not activated, the system shows the master picklist values.

Enable record locking and unlocking in process automation settings to add or remove approval process locks by using Apex.

          2. Select Deploy Metadata from Non-Certified Package Versions via Apex, and then save your changes.

          Create User Profiles

Profiles define how users access objects and data and determine the actions that the users can perform while using the app. Create and map specific user profiles to permission sets and field-level security settings during the app installation.

          • Clone a user profile such as Standard User and create a user profile. Assign the Salesforce license to every user profile.
          • If you started to use the Consumer Goods Cloud Managed package in Summer’24, create the CGCloud_User_Profile_Standard user profile. Assign this profile to the users that handle day-to-day retail activities. The CGCloud_User_Profile_Standard has the page layouts and default record type settings.
If you started to use the Consumer Goods Cloud Managed package before Summer ’24, you can continue to use your existing user profiles. However, we recommend that you create the CGCloud_User_Profile_Standard and assign relevant permission sets to this profile. When you migrate to this new profile, you must ensure that any changes to the existing profile and permission sets along with the page layouts and default record assignments from the old profile are done manually to the new profile. Use the CGCloud_User_Profile_Standard profile and the relevant permission sets to eliminate the need to manage permission sets every time you upgrade the CG Cloud managed package.
            Tip
Tip Until you test your setup with the CGCloud_User_Profile_Standard profile, retain the CGCloud_User_Profile as is.
          • To use the Consumer Goods Cloud Mobile Sync package, create CGCloud_Basic_Sync_Admin_Profile. Configure the profile for users that monitor sync, view sync configuration settings and mobile settings, manage deployment of mobile packages, and configure mobile themes and sync messages.
