          Define a team structure to make sales users responsible for customers and to ensure that customer information is used for visit planning, visit execution, and team monitoring.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience in Professional, Enterprise, and Unlimited Editions that have Consumer Goods Cloud enabled.

          Create records for each user and define the user's function and responsibilities. Maintain the user settings that define the working days and the working hours and the default settings, such as standard visit type or preferred calendar views.

          To create a sales team, add field users to sales team hierarchies, which get mapped to customers.

          For all users, these details are set up and maintained:

          • Management type according to a user’s function
          • Language and time zone
          • Whether a user is a mobile user
          • User role hierarchy
          • Customer teams and customer managers
          • Permission sets and profiles
          • Add Managed Products
            Use the Managed Products related list to associate Category or Brand-level products to user settings and to restrict user access to product categories or brands. You can define the management relation for one customer or all customers. For example, a user can be the product manager for a section of a company but not the product manager for another section for the same company. But, a user can also be the product manager for a section for multiple companies.
