            Static Resource Files

            After you download and install managed packages, upload multiple files from Static Resources to Salesforce by using dataloader.io.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Lightning Experience

            Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions that have Consumer Goods Cloud enabled

            CSV files contain data that need to be entered in the corresponding objects of the Salesforce Organization to run and allow usage without the need to create large amounts of setup data.

            CSV files contain data such as:

            • Templates for multiple application objects
            • Mobility picklist information and translations
            • Basic system configurations
            • Synchronization setup
            • Mobile app themes
            • Create HKey Field
              Create HKey fields for the Job Template and other objects before you upload files for the objects from static resources.
            • Handle Validation Rules
              Deactivate validation rules before you upload static resource for an object. Ensure to activate the rules after the upload.
            • Upload Static Resource Data
              When installing the Consumer Goods Cloud managed packages for the first time, upload data such as system configurations, templates for objects, translations, picklist mappings, synchronization setup, and demo data for retail execution objects, use an Apex code.
            • Upload Penny Perfect Pricing Static Resource Data
              When installing the Consumer Goods Cloud managed packages for the first time, upload Penny Perfect Pricing-related data to Salesforce using an Apex code.
            • Upload Direct Store Delivery (DSD) Static Resource Data
              When installing the Consumer Goods Cloud managed packages for the first time, use an Apex call to upload DSD-related data to Salesforce.
            • Upload Hybrid Persona Static Resource Data
              When installing the Consumer Goods Cloud managed packages for the first time, use an Apex class to upload both the retail execution and direct store delivery data to Salesforce for a hybrid user persona.
            • Upload Route Sales User Persona Static Resource Data
              When installing the Consumer Goods Cloud managed packages for the first time, upload retail execution data to Salesforce for a route sales user persona using an Apex class.
