The management team plans field activities for the sales and service teams to ensure that the right activities are in place for the right stores at the right time. Assigning activities to visits is automated to an extent, so your management team doesn’t need to manually assign activities every time it creates visits.
There are two types of activities: standard and event-driven.
- Standard Activities
- Standard Activities are to-do lists with activities that are valid for multiple customers.
These activities are valid for a longer time. You can add the activities to visits for
different customers and can run the activities multiple times for a customer.
You can plan sets of standard activities that have different functions. For example, ensure constant quality by creating separate to-do lists for different sales and service teams. Typical examples of standard activities are:
Greet the store manager
Capture order
Check out-of-stock products
- Event-Driven Activities
- Event-Driven Activities are to-do lists associated with an ongoing promotion (event) for a certain time frame. You can run these activities only once during the defined time frame.
