Customer Sets and Segmentation Key Objects

| Object | API Name | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Account | Account | Information on customers with whom you conduct business. An account can be a retailer, distributor, wholesaler, or consumer. |
| Customer Set | cgcloud__Account_Set__c | Set of customers who perform similar tasks such as promotion, pricing, or activities. A customer set can be created manually, integrated through an external system, or added via segmentation rules. |
| Customer Set Customer | cgcloud__Account_Set_Account__c | Association to assign a customer to a customer set. |
| Customer Set Manager | cgcloud__Account_Set_Manager__c | Association between a customer set and a user. Use a customer set manager for sharing rules for promotions. Use this object to assign a user to a customer set. |
| Org Unit | cgcloud__Org_Unit__c | Smallest units of an organization, such as a department or a branch office. For example, NTO California org unit under Northern Trail Outfitters (NTO) for the org level type, Sales. You can create multiple types of org units within one organization. You can create org units based on physical territories for sales teams or logical org units for service teams. |
| Segmentation Rule | cgcloud__Segmentation_Rule__c | A rule that associates Segmentation Rule Definition, Segmentation Rule Template, and Account with the Customer Set. You need segmentation rules to create customer sets. |
| Segmentation Rule Definition | cgcloud__Segmentation_Rule_Def__c | SOQL query with the filter criteria to create customer sets. The object also defines whether the accounts are filtered based on the account or org unit hierarchy to create customer sets. |
| Segmentation Rule Definition Column | cgcloud__Segmentation_Rule_Def_Column__c | Defines fields and their attributes such as Field Type, Field Default, Field Default Digits, and more in the Segmentation Rule Definition object. |
| User | User | Specific business roles for a sales org. Users conduct retail activities based on the defined role (for example: sales rep or supervisor). |
