Limitations for Orders on the Consumer Goods Cloud desktop app
Certain functionalities, including product assortments and filtering options, aren't
available for advanced orders on the Salesforce org. Keep these limitations in mind while
placing an order through Lightning Web Component (LWC) on the Consumer Goods Cloud desktop
app.
Required Editions
Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise and
Unlimited Editions where Consumer Goods Cloud is enabled
These functionalities aren't available when you place orders through the desktop app:
Selectable promotions, rewards, and hurdles
Payment collection through methods such as cash, credit, or more
Print order
Fast order
Order notes
Copy order
Signature capture during release
Product add using a scanner
Quantity suggestion for order items
When you configure order templates, orders through LWC manage assortments in specific
ways. Here are the types of assortments and how they are handled in an order.
Authorization List: Products from the authorization list are prepopulated and
shown on the order items page. The authorization list determines the products using the
listing modules and classification.
Customer Selling Assortment: Products from the customer selling assortment can't
be prepopulated and shown on the order items page. You can only see products from the
customer selling assortment when you add products to an order from the Add Products page
and the Customer Selling Assortment filter is selected in the order template.
Sales Document Assortment: Products from the sales document assortment can't be
prepopulated and shown on the order items page. You can only see products from the sales
document assortment when you add products to an order from the Add Products page and the
Sales Document Assortment filter is selected in the order template.
