User and Substitution Key Objects
User and Substitution objects store and manage the substitutes for unavailable sales reps. The substitute performs key operations for the reps’ customers for specific periods.

| Customer Manager | cgcloud__Account_Manager__c | User assignments for an account using org units. User assignments can be direct or through the AccountManagerOrgUnitBased batch process. Customer managers manage retail operations including order placement and visit creation, customer relationships, and team activities. They connect sales teams with their customers and are crucial for sales, service, and strategic planning. Customer managers are used to create account team members through the EffectiveAccountManagerSyncBatch process. |
| Sales Organization | cgcloud__Sales_Organization__c | Business segments that you use to structure your data and business processes by your organizational unit. You can base business segmentation on geographical territories, product division, or account team. |
| Sales Organization User | cgcloud__Sales_Organization_User__c | A user that is assigned to your sales org to manage retail activities. |
| Substitution or Customer Substitution | cgcloud__Substitution__c | Manages the planned and unplanned absence of sales reps. You can assign a substitute rep to a customer when a service rep is unavailable. You can assign one substitute to one customer, multiple substitutes to one customer, or one substitute to multiple customers. This object stores both the substitution and the customer substitution records, and identifies the record based on the value in the Record Type field. |
