Approval Processes for Direct Store Delivery (DSD) and Van Sales
Similar to Retail Execution orders, all Direct Store Delivery and Van Sales orders are
set to Ready status after drivers complete their order on the offline mobile app and the order's
approval processes are completed. Here are considerations made while setting up direct approval
processes of the Advance Orders object shipped as part of Static Resources for Direct Store
Delivery and Van Sales.
Required Editions
Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise and
Unlimited Editions where Consumer Goods Cloud is enabled
Only the direct approval processes are used for delivery documents and van sales
orders.
Retail Execution orders are updated with status as Ready once an approval process is
granted. Up until Spring ’25, you couldn’t set the status of DSD orders as Ready. Starting
Summer ’25, DSD orders are set to Ready status post the approval process.
If you're an upgrade customer, we recommend reviewing the Initial Submitter field and
updating it to Group: All Internal Users.
