          Add Customers to Org Units

          Assign a customer to an org unit to enable a business relationship between the org unit and the customer. You can add up to 4,800 customers to an org unit. You can also delete, or edit customers.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience in Professional, Enterprise, and Unlimited Editions that have Consumer Goods Cloud enabled
          User Permissions Needed
          To add customer to org unit:

          CGCloud Business Admin

          OR

          CGCloud Retail Business Admin

          1. From App Launcher, find and select Org Units.
          2. Select an org unit.
          3. From the Customer Org Units related tab, click New.
            You can assign an org unit to a customer from the Customer Org Units related list of a customer record page
          4. Select an org unit.
          5. Select a customer.
            The sales org of the customer and the org unit must be the same.
          6. Activate the assignment.
          7. Enter the validity period of the relationship, and then save your changes.
