          Set Up an Org Unit Hierarchy

          Add parent or child org units to an org unit to set up an org unit hierarchy.

          Required Editions

          Before you set up an org unit hierarchy, make sure that you have created org units.

          Available in: Lightning Experience in Professional, Enterprise, and Unlimited Editions that have Consumer Goods Cloud enabled
          User Permissions Needed
          To create parent org hierarchy:

          CGCloud Business Admin

          OR

          CGCloud Retail Business Admin

          1. From the App Launcher, find and select Org Units.
          2. Select an org unit.
          3. In the Parent Org Unit Hierarchies related list, click New.
          4. Select an org unit as the child org unit.
          5. Select an org unit as the parent org unit.
            The sales org of the parent org unit and the child org unit must be the same.
          6. Enter the validity period of the relationship, and then save your changes.
          • Assign Users to an Org Unit
            Assign users to org units to give the org units access to all stores. You can add up to 4,800 users to an org unit. You can also edit, or delete org unit users.
          • Add Customers to Org Units
            Assign a customer to an org unit to enable a business relationship between the org unit and the customer. You can add up to 4,800 customers to an org unit. You can also delete, or edit customers.
