Add a Reward to a Reward Group

Add a Reward to a Reward Group

You can define rewards for a specific reward group of a selectable promotion.

          Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience in Professional, Enterprise, and Unlimited Editions that have Consumer Goods Cloud enabled
          User Permissions Needed
To assign child promotion templates to promotion templates:

          CGCloud Business Admin

          OR

          CGCloud Retail Business Admin

You can assign only the hurdles to a reward that satisfy both the following conditions:

          • Hurdles and the associated rewards must belong to the same reward group.
          • Hurdles must have the record type as Reward.

Rewards are available for selection in the mobile app only if the assigned hurdles and the reward group-specific hurdles are fulfilled.

This related list is available only for the selectable promotions for which Consider Promotion Rewards is selected in promotion templates.

If you add a reward with Percentage Discount or Flat Rate reward type, then a new staging condition is created. If reward products are added to this type of reward later, then the staging condition and pricing condition generated at reward level isn’t valid and is deleted. If all products from the specified reward types are deleted, then the reward is applicable at reward level and not at product level, so a new staging condition and pricing condition is created and the related staging is deleted, along with related final conditions.

          1. From the App Launcher, find and select Promotions.
          2. Select a promotion.
          3. From the Reward Groups related list, select a reward group.
          4. In the Rewards related list, click New.
          5. Provide these details:
            Field Description
            Identification
Default Value Default value of the reward, which is dependent on the reward type. This field can't be a decimal value if the selected reward type is a free item.
Title Title of a promotion reward.
Description Brief description of a promotion reward.
Promotion Reward Group Reward group related to the selectable promotion.
Description Brief description about a reward.
            Reward Type

Type of a reward. It's updated based on the:

            • If Free Item is selected
            • User Exit field value
            • Meta type of the pricing condition template

            When saving a record:

            • If Free Item is selected, then the reward type is updated as Free Item.
            • If the User Exit field value is defined, then the reward type is updated as Special.
            • If the Pricing condition template is selected, then the reward type is updated as Meta type of the pricing condition template.
Count Products Numeric value that determines the number of products that are added to the selected reward.
            Pricing Condition Template

Pricing condition template associated with a reward to be used for staging conditions generation for promotion rewards. The sales org of this template must be the same as that of the promotion reward group the reward is related to.

            Note
            Note
            • Only pricing condition templates whose record type is Rewards can be added to a promotion reward.
            • This field is dependent on the selection of the Free Item check box and User Exit field value. If the Free Item check box is deselected, and User Exit field value isn’t defined, then a pricing condition template must be selected.
            Classification

            • C4
            • C5
