          Add a Search Strategy Step

A search strategy consists of search strategy steps to be processed in a particular sequence. The sequence is defined by the sort column in the search strategy. The strategy steps link the key types to a search strategy. A search step can be exclusive (stop if a condition is found) or non-exclusive (executes all search steps). If multiple conditions are found, the system combines all of the conditions. For example, it’s possible to collect discounts spread over hierarchy levels.

            Key Type

Key type that is used in a search strategy. The option has these restrictions:

            • If the selected key type considers a customer, then you must select Customer Role.
            • If the selected key type considers customer hierarchy, then No can't be selected in the customer hierarchy search.
            • If No is selected in the customer hierarchy, then you must select Customer Role as Orderer.
            • If the selected key type considers the product hierarchy, then No can't be selected in the product hierarchy search.
            Customer Hierarchy Search

Customer hierarchy that's considered for finding the condition. The options are:

            • No: Customer hierarchy search isn't considered.
            • Complete: Considers the customer hierarchy (except the account selected in an order) for search and combines all conditions. To include the account in the search strategy, add an additional search step for the account level with the Customer Hierarchy Search as No.

            Product Hierarchy Search

            • Product Level 1–5: Considers the conditions of the specified product hierarchy level for search.
            Note
Note Set this field to No when both Consider Reward and Product or Product Hierarchy are selected for the key type assigned to the search strategy step.
