            Assign a Child Promotion Template to a Promotion Template

            Use child templates to derive promotions from promotions that are created using the parent promotion template.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Lightning Experience in Professional, Enterprise, and Unlimited Editions that have Consumer Goods Cloud enabled
            User Permissions Needed
            To assign child promotion templates to promotion templates:

            CGCloud Business Admin

            OR

            CGCloud Retail Business Admin

            1. From the App Launcher, find and select Promotion Templates.
            2. Select a template.
            3. In the Child Promotion Templates related list, click New.
            4. Find and select a child promotion template.
            5. In the Copied Components field, select one or more components, such as Tactics and Tactic Products, from the Available list, and then move the components to the Chosen list.
              The chosen components are copied to the child promotion when a promotion is derived.
              Note
              Note The Tactic Condition Creation Definition (TCCD), Notes, and Manual Input components apply only to Trade Promotion Management.
            6. Save your changes.
