          Configure Promotion Lock Status

          When you add the promotion lock status setting, your users can delete promotions in any phase. Customize the setting so that users can’t delete promotions in the phases that you specify.

          Required Editions

          Before you configure the RE_Promotion_Lock_Status setting, add the promotion lock status by using Custom Settings.

          Available in: Lightning Experience
          Available in: Professional, Enterprise, and Unlimited Editions with the Consumer Goods Cloud
          User Permissions Needed
          To configure promotion lock status:

          CGCloud Business Admin

          OR

          CGCloud Retail Business Admin

          1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Custom Settings, and then select Custom Settings
          2. Find System Setting and click Manage next to it.
          3. Click Edit next to the RE_Promotion_Lock_Status setting.
          4. In Value, enter the promotion phases that you want to exclude from deletion.
            Note
            Note Users can’t delete the promotions in the phases that you specify here.
          5. Click Save.
