Create an Asset Template
Create asset templates for a sales org to quickly create assets for the sales org.
Required Editions
| Available in: Lightning Experience in Professional, Enterprise, and Unlimited Editions that have Consumer Goods Cloud enabled. |

- From the App Launcher, find and select Asset Templates, and then click New.

Provide these details.
Field Description Identification Asset Template Name Name of the asset template. Active Indicates whether the asset template is active. You can use only active templates to create assets. Meta Type Indicates the asset icons that are shown on mobile devices. The options are:
- Cooler
- Dispensing Equipment
- Freezer
- Furniture
- Intangible Assets
- Outdoor
Location Type Location at which the asset is placed. For example, you can select Internal, Bar, or Street. Sales Org Sales org to which the asset template belongs. You can edit this field only when creating an asset template. Sort Determines the order of this asset template in the list of asset templates that’s shown when creating an asset. Description Description Language 1/2/3/4 Description of the asset template in the languages that are configured for the sales org. Mobile Settings Scanning Required Indicates whether an asset audit is executed by using a scanner. Blind Mode If this option is selected, the list of assets isn’t shown during a visit. To enter the asset details, you can scan an asset tag. - Save your changes.
