To
define the movement behavior of an inventory, create an inventory transaction template. For
example, when a standard order is released, the number of units of an item that's delivered as a
part of the order gets deducted from the available inventory. To ensure inventory control for an
order item, set up Inventory Control of the order item template.

To create inventory transaction templates:
CGCloud Business Admin

CGCloud Retail Business Admin
From the App Launcher, find and select Inventory Transaction
Templates, and then click New.
Provide these details:

Indicates whether a template is active. You can use only active templates to create
inventory transactions.
Initial
Indicates whether a transaction is initial.
Transaction Type
Type of transaction made. The options are:

Void
Sales Org
Sales org of the inventory transaction template. You can edit this field only when
you create an inventory transaction template.
Description
Description Language 1/2/3/4
Description of the inventory transaction template in the languages configured for
the sales org.
Inventory References
Use Inventory Reference 1/2/3/4/5
Indicates whether inventory reference is used.
If in an order template, inventory
reference is selected, then templates that have inventory reference are applicable for
the orders that are created using the order template. For example, if Use Inventory
Reference 1 is selected for the inventory transaction template A, and in an order
template, Inventory Reference 1 is set to Default user, then the inventory transaction
template A is applicable for orders that are created using the order
template.
