Create a Sales Org
Create a sales org to segment data based on your business processes by geography, product division, or account team. Segment configurations by business in one Salesforce org. Manage multiple markets (multi-markets) in one Salesforce org. You can also create multiple sales orgs.
Required Editions
Add sales org values in the sales org and business area picklist value sets.

- From the App Launcher, find and select Sales Organization, and then click New.

Field Description Identification Name Name of the sales org. Sales Org Value Global sales org value. Business Unit Business unit attached to the sales org. Currency Currency of the sales org. The options are:
- US Dollar
- Canadian Dollar
- Yen
- Pound Sterling
- Euro
- Norwegian Krone
- Swiss Franc
- Russian currency
Default Price List Type Default price list type of the sales org. The options are:
- Wholesaler
- Direct Customers
- Non-Relevant
Default Price Type Default price type of the sales org. The options are:
- Factory
- Customer
- Non-Relevant
Global Sales Org Determines whether the sales org is global. You can mark only one sales org as global. Address Street Street name and number of the sales org. Postbox Postbox location of the sales org. No Unique number related to the post office. Zip Code Postal code of the sales org. State State of the sales org. Phone Phone number of the sales org. Fax Fax number of the sales org. City City of the sales org. Country Country of the sales org. Email Email of the sales org. Distance Unit Unit of measurement of distance. Geofence Distance Maximum permissible distance (in kilometers) for geofencing validation at start-of-day, at end-of-day, or during a visit. The default value is 0.5 (500 meters). Description Description Language 1/2/3/4 Description of the sales org. Payment Information TIN Tax jurisdiction code. Account Number Bank account number of the sales org. Bank Name of the bank. Bank Code Code of the bank and branch. IBAN Country code of the bank. BIN Book identification number. Legal Information Legal information related to payments. SWIFT Unique business identification code assigned to the bank. It’s used to transfer money through methods such as international wire transfers and SEPA payments. Sales Organization Language Language 1/2/3/4 Mandatory language and three additional languages configured for the sales org. Settings First Week of Year Identifies the first week of the year. The options are:
- Use System
- First January
- First Four Days
- First Full Week
First Day of Week Identifies the first day of the week. The options are the days of the week. Promotion Aggregation Level Level of product hierarchy at which the key performance indicators of a promotion are aggregated. The options are:
- Category
- Sub Category
- Brand
- Flavor
- Package
- Product
Pricing Units Weight Unit Unit of measurement of the weight of the product. The options are:
- Kg
- Ton
- Pound
- Oz
Volume Unit Unit of measurement of the volume of the product. The options are:
- Liter
- Gallon
- Cubic Meter
- Save your changes.
Map relevant users to the sales org for desktop and mobility.
