Create a Sellable Promotion
Before creating a promotion, evaluate your customer objectives and targets for the specific time period.

Note To view Promotion on Consumer Goods Offline Mobile App, you manually run the
FlattenAccountHierarchyBatch job and then the AggregatePromotionBatch job. For more information,
see Manual Batch Process.
- From App Launcher, find and select Advanced Promotion, and then click New.

Provide the promotion details.
- Select the promotion template that you want to use to create a promotion, and when to begin and end the promotion. The promotion templates appear according to their sort value in ascending order, where templates with empty sort value appear first on the list. If two or more templates have the same or empty sort value, based on the Description field, the system sorts them alphabetically.

For Anchor Customer, enter the node where the promotion appears. You can anchor a
promotion to a customer or customer set, based on the promotion template.
This option isn’t available for a mega event.
- Enter a slogan that describes the promotion.

- Add a Tactic to a Promotion
A tactic describes an action or a procedure as a step in the execution of a promotion. Tactics are the lowest level of tasks that are performed for a campaign. - Add Products to a Tactic Manually
The Tactic Products related list displays the list of products that are manually assigned to a tactic. - Add a Reward Group to a Sellable Promotion
The Reward Groups related list displays the list of reward groups associated with a promotion. The rewards to be included in the different reward groups are dependent on the evaluation of operators and threshold value defined using hurdles and promotion expressions. - Add a Hurdle to a Reward Group
Hurdles include the parameters that must be evaluated for receiving a reward related to a specific selectable promotion. Hurdles are used in combination with promotion expressions to determine the parameters and evaluation criteria for defining the eligibility criteria of receiving a reward. - Add a Reward to a Reward Group
You can define rewards for a specific reward group of a selectable promotion. - Add a Product to a Reward
Define promotion reward products for a specific reward of a selectable promotion. - Assign Sales Folders to a Sellable Promotion
You can assign sales folders to sellable promotions when creating or editing sellable promotions.
