            Create a Tactic Template

            A tactic describes an action or a procedure as a step in the execution of a promotion. Use tactic templates to create tactic types. Display each template with a different user interface to maintain different attributes for different tactic types.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Lightning Experience in Professional, Enterprise, and Unlimited Editions that have Consumer Goods Cloud enabled
            User Permissions Needed
            To create tactic templates:

            CGCloud Business Admin

            OR

            CGCloud Retail Business Admin

            1. From App Launcher, find and select Tactic Templates, and then click New.
            2. Provide these details:
              Field Description
              Identification
              Tactic Type

              Type of tactic. The options are:

              • Display
              • DisplayPerAbs
              • PriceReduction
              • PriceReductionPerAbs
              Tactic Template Name Name of a tactic template.
              Active Indicates whether a template is active.
              Sales Org Sales org of the tactic template.
              Order Relevant Indicates whether a tactic template can be used in field sales management.
              Description
              Description Language 1/2/3/4 Description of a tactic template in the languages configured for the sales org.
            3. Save your changes.
