Create a Custom Setting to Run the Enhanced Effective Account Manager Sync Batch
If you upgrade the Consumer Goods Cloud Managed package to Winter ’25 or later, to use
the enhanced version of the Effective Account Manager Sync batch during the Apex batch process
run, create the EffectiveAccountManagerSyncBatch custom setting. For all new customers of Consumer
Goods Cloud, this setting is created and enabled by default.
Required Editions
Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise and
Unlimited Editions that have Consumer Goods Cloud enabled
User Permissions Needed
To create a custom setting:
CGCloud Business Admin
OR
CGCloud Retail Business Admin
The enhanced version improves performance as the batch doesn’t recreate existing account
team members from account managers for each batch run. The batch creates or updates an account
team member record for changes in account managers.
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, find and select Custom
Settings.
Find System Setting, and then click Manage.
To add a setting, click New.
For the Name field, enter
EffectiveAccountManagerSyncBatch.
For the Description field, enter Runs the enhanced
EffectiveAccountManagerSync batch process..
You can leave the Value field as blank.
Save your changes.
