          Set up a Hybrid User

          Set up a Hybrid User

In Consumer Goods Cloud, Salesforce doesn't provide a separate user profile for hybrid users. Create a user profile or clone an existing Sales Rep user profile, and then assign the hybrid user permission set.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions where Consumer Goods Cloud is enabled
          User Permissions Needed
To set up a hybrid user profile: System Administrator

Here are the steps to create a hybrid user.

          1. Assign the CGCloud Retail Hybrid User permission set to the hybrid user in addition to the other permission sets needed for direct store delivery and retail execution. See Assign Permission Sets to Managed Package Users.
After you assign the permission set, the user can carry out both retail store and tour activities.
          2. In Sync Configuration, assign the Hybrid sync configuration to a role or directly to a user. See Map Users, Roles, and Profiles.
The hybrid sync configuration makes sure that all data that is needed for users for tour and retail store activities is synced to the Consumer Goods (CG) Cloud offline mobile app. The CG Cloud offline mobile app syncs Retail Execution and Direct Store Delivery data based on ‌tracked objects, named queries, and named fetch trees mapped to the sync profile.
          3. Add appropriate tour object references for the hybrid user to carry out retail orders alongside delivery and van sales orders. See Set Up an Object Reference for a Tour Template.
