          Set Up a Tour Template

          Use Tour Templates to define the tour settings, vehicle check questions, security check questions, and allowed references (visits and documents) for various market tours.

          To create or modify a tour template: Direct Store Delivery for Consumer Goods Offline Mobile App
          1. From the App Launcher, find and select Tour Templates.
          2. Click New.
          3. Enter tour description, tour template name, and other values.
            Field Purpose
            Mobility User Guidance Start of Day

            Configuration of a sequence of activities that the user performs at start-of-day. Possible values are

            • Delivery
            • None

            The default value is None. This field is reserved for future use.

            Mobility User Guidance End of Day

            Configuration of a sequence of activities that the user performs at end-of-day. Possible values are

            • Delivery
            • None

            The default value is None. This field is reserved for future use.

            Active Specifies whether a tour template is active. You can create tours by using only active templates. The default value is active.
            Sales Org Sales org of a tour template. You can’t edit a sales org after the tour is created.
            Sync Options

            Specifies a trigger for synchronization of tour data in the mobile app. Possible values are

            • No
            • OnTourStart
            • OnTourEnd
            • OnTourEndStart (sync happens for both start-of-day and end-of-day activities)
            Consider Mileage

            Specifies whether the driver must document the odometer reading at the start and end of a tour. Possible values are

            • Yes (Must be aligned with Odometer Photo Required field)
            • No
            • Optional
            Consider Vehicle Status

            Specifies whether the driver must check the vehicle (truck or trailer or both) for damages at the beginning and end of the tour. Possible values are

            • No: Select this option when you don’t need the tour driver to check the vehicle condition for completing the Review Vehicle Details activity.
            • Only Status: Select this option when you want the tour driver to check the vehicle condition but need not specify the condition reason (if not ok) for completing the Review Vehicle Details activity.
            • Status + Reason: Select this option when you want the tour driver to check the vehicle condition status and specify the reason (if not ok) for completing the Review Vehicle Details activity.

            This field confirms that the vehicle's status is okay. It's an alternative to detailed vehicle checks. Use it only when granular vehicle checks aren't configured. It allows the driver to confirm that everything is okay.

            Select Only Status or Status+Reason to mandate a vehicle condition check at the start and end of a tour. For the "Only Status" and "Status + Reason" options, the driver can’t execute the tour if the condition of the vehicle isn’t compliant.

            Default Currency Currency of the cash or invoice transactions during a tour. This field is reserved for future use.
            Multiple Cash Check-In Allowed Specifies whether multiple cash check-ins are possible for a tour. This field is reserved for future use.
            Creation Platform

            Specifies the platform on which the tour template is available for use. Possible values are

            • Laptop
            • Mobility
            • Both
            Odometer Photo Required Specifies whether the user must document the odometer reading at the start and end of the day with a picture. The default value is Yes.
            Consider Vehicle

            Specifies the vehicle that the driver has to provide identification (license number) for. Possible values are

            • No
            • Truck
            • TruckTrailer
            • TruckTrailers
            Consider Multiple Warehouses Specifies if more than one warehouse can be considered for a tour.
            Cash Check In Required Specifies whether the cash check-in at the end of each tour is mandatory. This field is reserved for future use.
            Cash Handling Required Specifies whether the driver performs cash-related actions during the tour execution. This field is reserved for future use.
            Default Tour Visit Duration Specifies the duration of each visit in a tour. The duration is measured in minutes and is applicable for visits in an independent tour.
            Allow Start Day Time Tracking Specifies whether the start-of-day time tracking is possible (yes/no). If yes, the system automatically calculates the start-of-day activity duration based on the start time plus the duration for all start-of-the-day activities.
            Allow Start Day GPS Tracking Specifies whether GPS tracking (location) is allowed at start-of-day.
            Allow Start Day Geofencing Specifies whether the validation of the user's GPS location against warehouse location is enabled at start-of-day.
            Allow End Day Time Tracking Specifies whether the end-of-day time tracking is possible (yes/no). If yes, the system automatically calculates the end-of-day activity duration based on the start time plus the duration for all end-of-day activities.
            Allow End Day GPS Tracking Specifies whether GPS tracking (location) is allowed at end-of-day.
            Allow End Day Geofencing Specifies whether the validation of the user's GPS location against warehouse location is enabled at end-of-day.
            Express Check Out Specifies whether express checkout is allowed for this template. The default value is Yes. This field is reserved for future use.
            Seal Scanning Required Indicates if the user must scan seals when you select the Express Check-Out field. This field is reserved for future use.
            Show Cash Info Specifies whether cash and expense information must be shown in the tour summary report. This field is reserved for future use.
          4. Save your changes.
            Note
            Note To delete a tour template, use the Delete button on the Details page. You can’t delete a tour template if an active tour is referencing it.
