When installing the Consumer Goods Cloud managed packages for the first time, use an
Apex class to upload both the retail execution and direct store delivery data to Salesforce for
a hybrid user persona.
Required Editions
Available in: Lightning Experience in Enterprise and Unlimited
Editions that have Consumer Goods Cloud enabled
User Permissions
Needed
To upload hybrid user configuration data:
CGCloud Business Admin
OR
CGCloud Retail Business Admin
Important Perform these steps only when you’re installing the managed packages for the
first time. If you’re upgrading the managed packages, skip these steps and perform the steps
in the Static Resources for Upgrade Managed Packages
section.
Upload demo data for Retail Execution and Direct Store Delivery (DSD)
before performing these steps.
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, find and select Apex
Classes.
Click Developer Console.
In the developer console, from the Debug menu, select Open Execute
Anonymous.
To upload the data, use this Apex code:
cgcloud.PostInstallHYBRIDDemoDataEndPoint.installDemoData();.
Click Execute.
A series of jobs to run are created. This step uploads required data coupled
with demo data and can’t be segregated. See Static Resource Files for details on the uploaded
data.
To monitor the jobs, from Setup, in the Quick Find box, find and select Apex
Jobs.
