          Create the Connection from the Home Org

          Create the link to the companion org from the Data Cloud One setup menu.

          Required Editions

          Available in Lightning Experience in Professional, Unlimited, and Enterprise Editions that have Consumer Goods Cloud enabled.
          User Permissions Needed
          Connect to companion org Data Cloud Admin

          Make sure that you prepare you home org before proceeding with connecting the home org to a companion org.

          • Assign the Data Cloud Admin permission set to your user to perform these steps in the home org.
          • Enable the Action Plans, Manage and Run Retail Execution CPG, and Manage Industries Visit system permission in the Data Cloud Salesforce Connector permission set.
          1. From the Data Cloud Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Data Cloud One, and then select Data Cloud One.
          2. Click New.
          3. Enter the user credentials for the companion org administrator and click Allow.
          4. Enter a unique Remote Connection Name and click Next.
          5. Select the data spaces from your data cloud instance to share with the companion org, and then click Next.
          6. Select the I Agree checkbox to accept the terms and click Connect.
            The connection process begins.
