            Handle Validation Rules

            Deactivate validation rules before you upload static resource for an object. Ensure to activate the rules after the upload.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Lightning Experience in Professional, Enterprise, and Unlimited Editions that have Consumer Goods Cloud enabled

            The validation rules that must be deactivated are mentioned in the table:

            ObjectValidation Rule
            Promotion Template Hierarchies_With_Copy_Usage
            Search Strategy Check_if_has_steps_before_activating
            System Number Segment_Type_Validation
            1. From Setup, go to Object Manager, and then find and select an object.
            2. Click Validation Rules.
            3. Click a validation rule, and then click Edit.
            4. Clear Active.
            5. Save your changes.
