            Override the Standard Buttons in Asset Object

            You can manually enhance the Asset object by adding picklist values to the Asset Status picklist.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Lightning Experience in Professional, Enterprise, and Unlimited Editions that have Consumer Goods Cloud enabled.
            1. From Setup, go to Object Manager, and then find and select Asset.
            2. Click Buttons, Links and Actions.
            3. For the New button, click Edit.
            4. Under Salesforce Classic Override, select Visualforce Page, and then select select the visualforce page as CreateEditAsset [cgcloud__CreateEditAsset].
            5. Ensure Skip record type selection isn’t selected.
            6. Save your changes.
            7. Repeat steps 3—6 for the Edit button.
