          Create Sharing Rule

          Create Sharing Rule

If the default sharing setting for the Location isn’t Public Read/Write for internal or external access, create a LocationShare record.  This record creates a Default Location that you can share with all the users in the system.

          To create a sharing rule:

          1. From Setup, go to Sharing Settings.
          2. Under the Location Sharing Rules section, click New and create a record with these field types.
            Label Default Location
            Rule Name Default_Location
            Rule Type Based on Criteria
Criteria Field: Location Name; Operator: Equals; Value: Default Location
Share With Public Groups - All Internal Users
            Access Level Read Only
          3. Save your changes.
