Customize how the pricing engine works using user exits. When calculating an order, the
pricing engine uses the configuration defined in Consumer Goods Cloud for the User Exit fields:
Skip Current Calculation Step, After Current Condition base, After Calculation Result, and Skip
Current Search Strategy Step.
Required Editions
Available in: Lightning Experience in Performance, Enterprise, and
Unlimited Editions that have Consumer Goods Cloud enabled
Important Before you create or modify a user exit, enable the Author Apex
permission by going to the Administrative Permissions section of the relevant user
profiles.
Based on the user exit criteria, you can apply a user exit when calculating an order either
before or after the calculation, and it impacts the calculation results.
Configure the After the Current Condition Base Price You can modify the base values of the fields that are used to calculate orders. You can use this user exit to manipulate the condition base, which impacts the calculation result.
Configure the After Calculation Result You can update or overwrite the calculation step, including all variables that are relevant to the calculation. This user exit is called after the calculation.
Configure the Skip Current Calculation Step You can apply or skip conditions for a calculation step during order calculation. This user exit is called before the calculation.
