Set Up Payment Plans to Manage Financial Hardships
Help your customers manage their financial hardship situations effectively by setting
up payment plans based on their financial account types and debt situations. Enable Decision
Table Access, define payment plan types, create a decision table for payment plan mapping, and
create an expression set from the prebuilt expression set template to reference payment plan
mapping decision table.
This feature is available only to Financial Services Cloud customers.
Enable Decision Table Access for Collections To access decision tables created separately from Business Rules Engine, turn on the Industries Cloud Common Decision Tables Access component.
Define Payment Plan Types to Create Payment Plans To help customers meet their payment commitments during financial hardship, it’s important to offer flexible payment options tailored to their financial account types and debt situations. To facilitate this, create payment schedule distribution methods, and the corresponding payment schedule treatment records, and payment schedule treatment detail records.
Create a Decision Table for Payment Plan Mapping Create a decision table by using the predefined template. The decision table helps you to map payment plan types according to your customer's financial account types and debt situation. Create a CSV file with the financial account type to payment plan type mapping details. Add this CSV file to the decision table.
