          Configure Intelligent Appointment Management Settings for Salesforce Scheduler

          Configure settings that specify a named credential.

          Salesforce Platform Starter license

          1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Intelligent Appointment Management Configuration, and then select Intelligent Appointment Management Configuration.
          2. Click New Intelligent Appointment Management Configuration.
          3. Enter a label for the configuration.
          4. Enter the legacy named credential that you created for Intelligent Appointment Management scheduling. For details, see Create a Named Credential for Scheduling.
          5. Leave Assigned Provider Role blank. This field doesn’t apply in Summer ‘24 or later.
          6. Select Is Active.
            You can have multiple appointment configurations, but only one can be active at a time.
            Important
            Important A configuration record isn’t active by default. You must manually activate it and deactivate any other configuration records. At least one configuration record must be active for Intelligent Appointment Management to work.
          7. Save the configuration.
