Create Explainability Action Definitions
Define where the metadata of your business rules is stored.

| To create explainability action definitions: | Decision Explainer Service Access |
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Decision Explainer, and then select Explainability Action Definition.
- Click New Explainability Action Definition.

Enter a label for the new definition and press tab.
The developer name autopopulates. If the developer name exceeds 10 characters because your label is too long, you can either shorten the label or modify the autogenerated developer name. Try to keep the label and the developer name similar.

For Business Process Type, click
, and select the business process type for the new explainability action
definition.
- Select an application type for which you want to generate an explainability log.
- For Action Log Schema Type, select the type of action log schema you want to use for the application. For example, select Expression Set. The default value is Other.
- Optionally, enter a description.

For Application Subtype, click
, and select an application subtype.
- Save your changes.
