Considerations for Adding Customer Lookup to Displays
Configure a lookup control in Visual Studio Code based Modeler to show the current
Displays account and a button to launch a wizard to select a different account on the Consumer
Goods offline mobile app. Add an event handler in process flow to launch the wizard for the
sales rep to select a customer.
Required Editions
Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise and
Unlimited Editions where Consumer Goods Cloud is enabled
When a sales rep opens a customer list for a display record in the Consumer Goods offline
mobile app, the app triggers a series of the backend processes.
Sync
This process syncs the Account database column to the Consumer Goods offline mobile
app.
Model
The model creates a new database column for the Account and references the column in the
business object.
View
The new lookup control in Displays creates the UI for the
customer list. The Event Handler calls the existing wizard process in the
MyDisplay_DisplayDetailsProcess.processflow.xml process contract to
select a customer.
