Define Conditions for a Fulfillment Step to Run

After you create a fulfillment step definition, you have the option to prevent it from running until certain conditions are met.

          Required Editions

Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions
          User Permissions Needed
To set conditions for a fulfillment step to run:

          Fulfillment Designer

          OR

          DRO Admin User

          1. From the App Launcher, find and select Fulfillment Workspaces.
          2. Locate a step you wish to add execution conditions to. Click The Down arrow and select Configure Execution Rules.
          3. Click Create Rule.
          4. Choose whether the rule is based on a Sales Transaction Item or Fulfillment Line Item.
          5. Set the conditions. Choose from these options:
            • All Conditions Are Met
            • Any Condition Is Met
            • Custom Condition Logic Is Met. In this case, you define the logic.
          6. Select the resources you wish to evaulute. The resources are either sales transaction or fulfillment line item context tags as defined in DRO context definition.
          7. Add additional resources to evaluate, if necessary.
          8. Save your work.
          9. To skip the entire branch of remaining steps rather than just one step, turn on Skip Branch.
          • How Skipping a Fulfillment Branch Works
Designers can configure a step so that if it doesn't meet certain conditions, Dynamic Revenue Orchestrator (DRO) skips only the step, or skips the entire branch.
